Pets

What is it that makes us so attached to our pets? So much so that we consider them as family. Like one of our brothers and sisters or our very own sweet little kids. Raising them up from small cuties – to adorable naughty youngsters – to the careless happy adults that they become. Though their growth is fast forwarded, they add such cherished memories to our life.

When they leave our lives, no matter how long they have been with us, it hurts. Its just that. No other way to describe it. Death of a loved one results in only hurt. The hours and hours of crying and thinking only help in reducing some of the pain. My first two pet dogs, Rocco and Tiger, both died similar deaths and the pain on losing them was unbearable. It resulted me in raising my two girls, Appy and Livie, strictly no matter how much they whine.

The joy that they have in their eyes (and tails) when they see us is incomparable to any other joy (except when they see food) 😛

  1. I know that feeling. We lost our dog, Maggi (cool name, I know) a couple of years ago. It was very hard. But I am happy now cuz’ we have a new dog called Jenny. :’)
